I have been busy composing. I have been submitting to TV and Film libraries. No hits yet but it keeps me focused. Likely need an agent to move anything. I will have some new tracks up soon.

I have recently been focusing on progressive bluegrass and progressive folk. I was inspired by hearing Sean and Sarah Watkins of Nickle Creek. I have taken up mandolin-yes another instrument. Can’t wait for some new sounds.

Have found collection of Chapman Stick tunes that I I composed 20 years ago. I will likely put them on the new album. Maybe 1 or 2 tracks will be included.

Speaking of the new album-I think the theme will include collaborations with all my musician friends. In essence, a tune for each collaboration. Reanimatology is the tentative title. Coming soon.

Lots of updates. Had to redo the site due to a technical glitch. All is well though.

Recording with Jim Spaulding, former guitarist with Fantasy Records and Greg Kihn Band. I am producing his solo disk and we have been working on some collaborative music. He is a great musician and really channels the emotion of the groove. I will have more up soon.

My brother, George Rose, just released his debut disk Boneyard Boulevard. It a seven track EP of his originals and a couple of covers. It is available at CD baby and iTunes. The songs are americana folk and are funny and beautiful. I produced the disk and he recorded it at Reanimated Studios.

My buddy and long time collaborator Mark Fassett www.mfassett.com and I are doing an album together. It is going to have a lot of different sounds so stay tuned.

My son Samuel is a busy music major at CalArts. He has really found his love in Music Technology and they have a cutting edge program there. He has classes in music programming and experimental sound design. It is great when your kids move to a new level. I will have some of his tracks up soon.
